FUTLUME / Legal information
App privacy policy
As of 25 September 2026
1. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing in connection with the FUTLUME app is:
Azur LusnickicFritze-Müller-Weg 1
14612 Falkensee
Germany
Email:
futlume@gmail.com
This privacy policy applies to the FUTLUME app for iOS and Android. The separate privacy policy of the website applies to the website futlume.de.
2. Purpose and scope of the app
FUTLUME is a football knowledge library. The app explains game situations with visual tactical sequences and short explanations.
All content of the app is contained in the app itself. The app does not connect to a FUTLUME server to read the content.
No account is required to use the app. There is no FUTLUME account and no FUTLUME backend.
3. Data stored locally on the device
So that the app can provide its functions, it stores the following data locally in the app storage on your device:
- Favorites: only the IDs of the situations you have marked as favorites.
- Language setting: whether the app follows the system language or which language you have selected manually.
- Premium unlock: a record containing a version number, the unlock status (free or Premium), the product ID and the time of the last confirmed store response.
The Premium unlock record does not contain complete payment data, credit card data, store passwords, store tokens or account data.
FUTLUME does not transmit favorites, the language setting or the unlock status to a FUTLUME server of its own.
Storing this information on your device is strictly necessary for the app functions you have expressly requested (Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). Where personal data is processed in this context, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
4. In-app purchases via Apple and Google
FUTLUME Premium is a one-time in-app purchase with the product ID futlume_premium. There is no subscription.
Each time the app starts, provided the store is available, the app retrieves product information (for example the current price) and the current purchase status of FUTLUME Premium via the Apple App Store or Google Play. The app also communicates via these interfaces when a purchase is made and when a purchase is restored. In the process, data is transmitted to Apple or Google and processed there.
Payment is processed exclusively by the respective store. FUTLUME does not receive any payment data. The app checks on the device, based on the store’s response, whether FUTLUME Premium has been purchased, and then stores only the unlock status described in section 3.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of the purchase).
Apple and Google also process data under their own responsibility when the app is downloaded and when purchases and payments are made. Depending on your device and store settings, Apple and Google may also collect diagnostic and crash information. Further information:
5. Operating system backups
Depending on the platform and your settings, the local app data mentioned in section 3 may be included in backups of your operating system or device, for example in iCloud or Google backups. These backups are provided by Apple or Google under their respective terms. FUTLUME itself has no access to these backups.
6. Contact by email
In the app settings, you can open your email app via “Contact / Feedback”. Opening the email app does not cause FUTLUME itself to transmit any data.
Only when you actually send an email does your email provider process the message. Gmail is used on the recipient side (for users in the European Economic Area, generally Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland).
In particular, your email address, your name (if provided), the content of your message and any other information provided voluntarily are processed. The data is used to handle your inquiry.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Where the inquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR additionally applies.
7. No FUTLUME accounts
The app does not offer registration or login. No FUTLUME account data is collected or stored.
8. No analytics or advertising tracking of its own
As of now, FUTLUME does not use any analytics, tracking or advertising services of its own in the app. In particular, there is:
- no analytics tracking of its own
- no personalized advertising and no advertising at all
- no Google Analytics and no Meta Pixel
- no newsletter in the app
- no community or social features
Should the technical scope of the app change, this privacy policy will be adapted accordingly beforehand.
9. Storage period
The locally stored data remains on your device until you change or delete it. You can remove favorites in the app and change the language setting at any time. When the app is deleted, the local app data is removed from the device; backups are subject to the settings of your operating system.
Email content is deleted once the respective inquiry has been conclusively handled and there are no statutory retention obligations or other legitimate reasons for further storage.
10. Rights of data subjects
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, data subjects have in particular the following rights:
- Right of access
- Right to rectification
- Right to erasure
- Right to restriction of processing
- Right to object to certain processing
- Right to data portability, where the legal requirements are met
